Before you write: what we can and cannot do
We are not an insurance company, agency or broker. We are an independent comparison site. That means we cannot look up your policy, change your coverage, take a payment, cancel a policy, issue a certificate of insurance, or help with a claim — only your insurer or your licensed agent can do those things. If you have an active policy, contact the carrier named on it. What we can do is explain what coverage does, tell you what it typically costs, fix an error on one of our pages, or point you at a carrier who will quote you.
